78spinner "Dead Baby Boomers" and "Turd in the "Punchbowl" are faves for the "pet sounds" under Burnie's guitar and singing. Some of his songs have the power to pull you out of a blue Funk. Keep on rockin' in the free world... Favorite track: Dead Baby Boomers.

Slit the throats of the postmodern fools Drain to fill baptismal pools In which the faithful now submerged Sanguinary stained illusions purged To begin their lives unobstructed By the spiritual confusion Scarred upon the neurons Of the Neanderthal slaying semi-quasi-demi-gods And the choir shrieks a threnody Of massacred reality A delightful introduction To introduce the sermon The church of the Darwinian Snuff Film has now begun

about

All songs were composed and performed by Folkicide (ASCAP). Additional vibrations were provided by the following Church of the Darwinian Snuff Film auxiliary choir members: Zachary “Negative Space Conductor” Turner: Micro Korg, bowed bass guitar and tape loops. Jason Beers: Banjo, Jew’s harp, screaming saw and a Hammond A-100 organ forged back in 1963. Darrin Welch; multi-layered vocal gymnastics and one off bass line. Recorded and engineered by David Moore at his Merriam Shoal Studio here and there between July and August of 2011; I am forever in debt to his technical artistry. On a final note, Folkicide played the organ solo on Dead Baby Boomers.
